Senator Neddy

Ned Lamont was on a couple of news shows this morning. I caught him on Face the Nation, where he talked about amongst other things the condition of healthcare in this country and his support for government funded universal coverage.

At least Lamont is down in the eaaaarly polls. You wouldn’t know it though listening to Howard Dean.

“I know how hard this is for Joe, and he is a good person, but the truth is I lost one of these races and I got behind my party’s nominee and I think that is what you have to do if you want to help this country,” Dean, former governor of Vermont, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

No, crazy Dr. Dean, you got out of the primary because you had no chance of victory and would’ve incurred millions of dollars in debt in pursuit of a losing effort. Lieberman is going to trounce Lamont in November, there’s no reason for him to drop his bid. And he didn’t abandon the Democratic party, the party abandoned him.

Vote Joe in 2006!
