Justice Delayed Is…

…well, I suppose better than nothing.

The remaining charges against three Duke University lacrosse players originally indicted for rape may be dropped sometime within the next few days, according to a report.

Truly though this is far, far overdue. I’ve given a lot of attention to the Duke lacrosse rape case. From the beginning, well before the tide turned, I voiced my doubts about these accusations. Thank God those doubts have been borne out for these three players.

This isn’t quite the end of it though. Even once this announcement is made we still need to be watching what happens to DA Nifong and the accuser.
